The Intelligent Transportation System Society (ITSS) is an organizational unit of IEEE, established in 2005. It advances the theoretical, experimental, and practical aspects of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies applied to intelligent transportation systems.
Advancing the theoretical, experimental, and operational aspects of Electrical Engineering and IT as applied to ITS — systems utilising synergistic technologies and systems engineering to develop and improve transportation of all kinds.
Founded in early 2026, the IEEE ITSS Nirma Chapter brings together students from Computer Engineering and beyond to bridge academia with real-world mobility innovation. We are dedicated to transforming intelligent transportation systems through applied AI and machine learning.
